Every equine's health is important to us, whatever job they do. We recommend that all equines have at least a once yearly check-up, usually at the time of vaccination and dental exam. Preventative medicine is key, both to detect problems early and make them easier to treat, and to avoid their occurrence in the first place. We can offer nutritional advice, worming advice, discuss fitness plans, foot care and farriery, assess ongoing medications and any niggling worries you might have. Routine healthcare in the older horse is particularly important to ensure their welfare in to old age, where dentition, diet and chronic illnesses require specific management, and we can help and support owners to make end-of-life plans.
Our Horse Health Plan (£11.99/month) is geared towards providing our clients with a full routine and preventative healthcare package.
