We have a fully-equipped specialised equine vet team on the road, supported by our referral equine hospital and in-house laboratory.
Enjoy the benefits of a dedicated, personal service with the luxury of direct access to expertise as required. We believe continuity of care to be very important and encourage owners to request the vet of their choice when making appointments. We currently have 7 experienced veterinary surgeons covering all aspects of horse work throughout Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and the New Forest. Visits beyond our catchment area e.g. for pre-purchase-examinations, can be arranged with prior notice.
Our vehicles are fully-equipped to service all nature of routine work and emergencies. We take great pride in our extensive array of regularly upgraded portable equipment. This allows us to provide top-class diagnostic imaging and therapeutics at your premises. Examples include video and exercise endoscopy, wireless digital X-Ray, ultrasound scanners, portable shockwave.
A duty vet is always available to attend emergencies during the night, at weekends or bank holidays. During these times there is also always a surgeon on call who will look after emergency hospital admissions and surgeries.
Our vets have all developed particular areas of interest, have RCVS certificates and further qualifications. They regularly attend CPD (continuing professional developement) to keep up to date with current techniques and clinical thinking. Between them they pool their resources, regularly discuss cases and can offer you a wealth of experience.
Our fully equipped in-house laboratory is available for round the clock, immediate sample processing and quick results.
